Description

Robust and ideal for site work, the Rems Magnum is a proven high-class performer for threading,
cutting, deburring, nipple threading and roll grooving (accessory required).
Chuck & Drive Motor
With its powerful universal 1,700w motor and spindle speed of 53 rpm, the tornado can turn a 2″
thread in just 15 seconds. Operation of the motor is via a user-friendly footswitch with an
emergency stop for protection. Quick action self-tightening chuck ensures no pipe slipping,
large space between chuck and centring device will secure even long
pipes and rear centring device for material alignment.

Pipe Cutter & Deburrer
Made of forged steel with a robust body the pipe cutter is self-centring has an ergonomic
wide handle for powerful in feed and a specially hardened
cutter wheel to ensure long service life.
Strong yet easy to handle a deburring device with adjustable positioning.
Specially designed twin cutting blade ensures easy deburring and
optimum chip flow, especially on smaller diameter pipes.

Dies & Thread-cutting oil

Rems Spezial and Sanitol cutting oils are recommended to aid thread cutting,
they will prolong die life, speed cutting and ensure perfect threading.
Rem’s indestructible quality dies to ensure excellent start cutting,
easy threading and fast clean threads. The dies are manufactured from high-grade steel,
fully tempered and hardened for extremely long life.
Just one die head is needed for all threads including long threads. Automatic opening
and thread length stop for tapered threads, fast adjustment of thread size, easy to
read thread size scale and simple die changeover make this machine extremely operator-friendly.
With its reliable oil pump and high pumping capacity oil distribution is optimized onto
the threading point through the die head, this ensures clean threads, long die, gear and motor life.
